It is the best example of suspense in a film that isn't directed by Hitchcock. It is absolutely the best movie based on a TV Series, it elevates its source material and is now the definitive thing people think of when they think "Fugitive". Harrison Ford puts in a great performance as always. And Tommy Lee Jones puts in a career defining, Oscar winning role as Sam Gerard. The movie has one of the all-time best hooks to get the audience's attention to begin the movie. The movie starts out good and just keeps going.
